This means your vehicle will most likely face heavy and unnecessary inspections. This operation is not speculation; it has been officially confirmed to our organization. Checks will 100% take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Consequently, we cannot guarantee that you, as a participant, will be able to reach our event unhindered. Furthermore, the announced measures are of such a nature that they would directly impact the atmosphere, freedom, and experience of Dropped. This is exactly what we want to avoid at all costs.

It is with heavy hearts that the Dropped organization must announce that, due to the aforementioned circumstances and against our will, we are forced to reschedule Dropped 2026 to Sunday, July 5, 2026. We do not take this decision lightly, but we do so consciously in the interest of our community and your experience. We refuse to allow a situation where our participants and visitors become victims of circumstances beyond Dropped’s control.

For us, the line has been crossed. We have always stood for a safe, licensed, respectful, and—above all—carefree event for our community. That is exactly why Dropped is making this decision: not to make things easier for ourselves, but to prevent you from ending up in a situation where our organization no longer has control. We are choosing to protect Dropped, even if it means we have to postpone.

Dropped will therefore be moved to Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the same location, with the same vehicle, and at the original rate. We kindly ask you to confirm your participation for this new date via the button below. If participation on this date is not possible, we will provide a voucher for the 2027 edition of Dropped free of charge.

This action is taken because three tuning events are taking place on the same day within a short geographical distance. Despite clear agreements and more than ten years of constructive cooperation with the local police, Dropped has learned through internal sources that massive and unexpected police checks specifically targeting tuned cars will take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026. This includes an exceptional Sunday opening of two inspection stations in Alken and Hechtel-Eksel, with checks spread over a wide and unpredictable area within a radius of at least 50 kilometers around our site.

2. Was this known in advance?

No, the exceptional scale and specific approach of this police operation only came to light very recently through internal sources.

3. Why can’t the event just go ahead?

For Dropped, the participant's experience is central. The announced checks are so intensive that we can no longer guarantee the safety and carefree nature of the event. We refuse to knowingly put our community in a situation where the chance of fines or technical inspections at the entrance is nearly 100%. By rescheduling, we protect your car and the atmosphere of the event.

4. Is my ticket still valid?

Yes. Your ticket remains valid; only the date changes to Sunday, July 5, 2026. Your ticket remains linked to the same vehicle and under the exact same conditions and price. We only ask you to confirm your attendance and request your compensation for this inconvenience via the button on this page.

Yes, in any case, we kindly ask you to let Dropped know your choice. 7. Can I change my vehicle?

No, unfortunately, that is not possible. Your ticket and the associated selection are vehicle-specific. Participation on Sunday, July 5, 2026, is therefore only possible with the car initially approved by our jury.

8. Will the location remain the same?

Yes, the location remains the same, at the Mine Site of Heusden-Zolder. We will still welcome you on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the same spot as originally planned.

9. Are there advantages to the new date?

Absolutely! In early July, we not only have a higher chance of beautiful summer weather, but we can also guarantee a completely undisturbed experience. Without the threat of large-scale checks, the relaxed atmosphere that Dropped is known for will return. This will undoubtedly result in a higher turnout and an even more impressive experience for everyone. Additionally, as a thank you for your patience, we are offering the exclusive gift options mentioned above.

10. Why Sunday, July 5, 2026?

This is the earliest possible date on which we can guarantee a high-quality and safe event. After consultation with the venue and local authorities, this proved to be the best option to let Dropped proceed at full strength.

11. Can I resell my ticket?

No, that is not possible. Each ticket is strictly linked to the vehicle for which the registration was submitted. A new participant must go through the full registration process for an assessment by our jury.

12. Is my spot guaranteed on the new date?

Yes. Once you confirm your participation via the button on this page, your spot on Sunday, July 5, 2026, is definitively secured. We recommend doing this as soon as possible so we can finalize the planning.

13. Can I still cancel and get a refund?

Given this situation of force majeure, no refunds are provided. We do offer the possibility to move your participation free of charge to Sunday, July 5, 2026, or to our 2027 edition via a voucher.

No, the program remains fully intact. The move has no influence on the planned activities, exhibitors, or atmosphere; only the date changes. You can expect exactly the same Dropped experience as originally planned.

17. Can I change my compensation choice later?

No, once you have confirmed your choice via the form, it is considered final. This allows us to correctly manage the administration and the stock of compensations.

18. Can I still cancel if I haven't made a payment?

If you have been selected but have not yet completed the payment, you can decide not to proceed. Your registration will automatically expire after the payment link's due date. Please let us know via the form so we can give your spot to someone on the waiting list. Note: if you bought a ticket at a reduced rate, you forfeit the right to this discount for future registrations.

19. What if the weather is bad on Sunday, July 5, 2026?
